Designer's Florist by Sekan has been serving the area funeral homes of Fort Scott, Ks. since 1986.  Before joining Teleflora, Sekan offered a wide variety of sympathy options: green plants, blooming plants, silk funeral arrangements and fresh funeral bouquets.  Working closely with the local funeral homes, Sekan has built a lasting  reputation for excellence in historic Ft. Scott.

   In 1991, Designer's Florist by Sekan joined the ranks of Teleflora. Since that time, Sekan has been able to expand their service area to not only include Fort Scott, Kansas, but the neighboring towns of Pittsburg, Ks.; Frontenac, Ks.; Arma, Ks.; Pleasanton, Ks.;  Mound City, Ks; Nevada, Mo., and more. This also allowed them to service the funeral homes in each of those towns as well. The funeral home directors and staff have become quite confident in the funeral arrangements that Sekan provides that often times they send the families directly to the store to work with their qualified staff. For those occasions that the family wants everything handled in-house, Sekan has also provided selection guides for the funeral homes, so that when families come in to plan the funerals of their loved ones they can see the many beautiful choices they have when making the funeral arrangements: green plants, dish gardens, funeral wreaths and  bouquets.
